  • June 2009 — June 2010, under Dr. SACHIN TAPASVI, Consultant orthopaedic surgeon, Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy, Deenanathmangeshkar hospital and Jehangir hospital, pune.
  • The Fellowship involved clinical sessions and surgical sessions in Primary and Revision Hip/Knee/ Shoulder replacement; as well as, in Knee/Shoulder arthroscopic surgery. Research projects were successfully carried out during this period.

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE IN ORTHOPAEDICS:

  • Bedside care of orthopaedic patients, traction, appliances etc.
  • Casualty and emergency room procedures.
  • Outpatient management, pre-operative evaluation and planning.
  • Emergency operative procedures performed individually range from fasciotomies to pelvic fracture stabilisation/ fixation.
  • Ability to manage almost all simple and complex limb injuries and soft tissue reconstruction.
  • Assisted in the field of knee/hip arthroplasty, arthroscopy of shoulder/knee.
  • Practicing JOINT REPLACEMENT and ARTHROSCOPY, Primary and revision arthroplasty of knee, hip and shoulder and Arthroscopic surgeries of knee, shoulder, ankle joints since 2010.

PERSONAL STATEMENT:

I believe that we should like and enjoy the work what we do every day. My goal would be to enjoy the profession with highest level of patient care and medical ethics in orthopaedic surgery. I would like to involve in research activities with an effort to take the patient care to the next level and also like to share my knowledge with others. I was fortunate to work in different health systems including government as well as corporate hospitals and understand the responsibilities and needs of both.
