Inspiration

The mission of the Human Bios Project is to minimize casualties during the evolving corona pandemic by virtually connecting medical professionals and affected persons on a global basis.

The infrastructure will be built from existing, reusable components of several open and proprietary components (WeChat, Facebook, Telegram, Whatsapp, Discord, Skype, Riot.im, Status.im, Google hangout). Sufficient redundancy and the use of pre-existing software will allow rapid deployment at large scale to provide a stable environment for caretaking personnel to perform their tasks while in quarantine or remotely. This will minimize the exposure to the virus, in both directions between personnel and patient.

What it does

Currently, we're implementing this specification of a load balancing bot in telegram.

How we built it

We are a decentralized team with a diverse tool stack. We work with a diverse team of psychologists and designers to prepare guidelines that will be there when the tech will fail. The first implementation uses Python and Telegram.

Challenges I ran into

Processing the scope of the project while maintaining quality standards. It's a wild ride, but we'll keep on keeping on.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Having a team that is willing and up for the task!

What I learned

Breath.

What's next for HumanBiOS

Partnering with projects that share the vision. Social caretaking network against quarantine and isolation.
