ChatBot Idea (#Cori) - Proposal

Summary:

Cori is a chatbot that can be integrated into existing websites and aims to provide specific, local advice that is currently being sought on the phone. The benefit for a public organization to integrate Cori on their publicly facing platform is to free up qualified staff to do more than answering repetitive questions from the public.

What is Cori?

Cori is a text-based chatbot that interacts with a website user to provide information that would otherwise have to be provided over the phone by a staff member.

What questions can Cory answer?

Cori can provide answers specific to the location it’s in. For example, Coronavirus testing sites, their opening times, who is a risk person, what precautions should you take in specific circumstances, etc.

Cori therefore aims to provide a human-like interaction with the website user and answers questions individually and interactively.

What is Cori not?

  • Cori is not a doctor.
  • Cori is not an ambulance.
  • Cori does not provide medical advice outside of the specific use-case it has been deployed for.
